Our refills come in cardboard packaging and are simple to replace. 
The ink reservoir comes in a compostable package, made from Cassava & Eucalyptus  (it looks like plastic, but it's not). 
The reservoirs are not compostable, so we ask you to send them back to us (if you can) and we will upcycle them into new products.
